The Powercases Camping Buddy.

Members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) can now buy cutting-edge off-grid power products at privileged prices after a young Scottish company signed its second deal with a major membership organisation.

Powercases (Scotland) Ltd, headed by sales coach Peter Waggott, now offers five of its products to members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club at privileged prices.

They can now buy Powercases’ Sportsman Jumpstarter, Automotive Jumpstarter, 2-in-1 phone charger, Universal Charger and Portable Power Station via Staples Solutions UK, with which Powercases entered into a supplier agreement last year.

The Caravan and Motorhome Club, formerly The Caravan Club, was founded in 1907 and is Europe’s biggest touring community, helping caravanners, motorhomers and campers access more than 2,700 locations in the UK and Europe. It was renamed the Caravan and Motorhome Club in 2017.

Started last year, Dundee-based Powercases (Scotland) Ltd has a partnership to exclusively represent the Canadian Powercases brand of state-of-the-art Lithium-Ion rechargeable power packs and cases in Europe. In January it was accepted as a recognised Member Reward Partner by the Royal Yachting Association – offering a range of its products to the RYA’s more than 110,000 members around the world.

Recognised

Speaking about the latest deal, Peter Waggott said: “We’re delighted our products have been recognised for their class-leading quality and performance by such a long-established and respected membership organisation.

“Having power on demand when you’re travelling or at a camp site without mains power for campers is essential these days given how reliant we are on our mobile phones and laptops.

“We’re very pleased to have linked up with a third trusted brand and expect to be announcing more similar agreements in other sectors this year.”

Powercases in Canada is in advanced talks with Kia Canada to offer its range of products via dealerships there. It’s looking to do the same in the UK.
